8/31/2023 0 Comments Parque aquatico em west palm beach![]() ![]() ![]() The park opened in June 2020 when Florida was seeing an incredible amount of COVID cases and I was simply not going to risk the health of my family. I decided to not use them in 2020 for obvious reasons. I had 2020 tickets I got in December of 2019 on a day the decided the close the park when we were already inside, so I couldn’t enjoy the park that day and they told me to come back. I’ve been going to rapids for almost 5 years. Get more staff or advertise on your website that half the rides are closed and figure out the car park situation! the 3 rides we did go on were fun though. All in all it was an expensive day and a let down. Ended up getting one very small fries, one cheeseburger and a small portion of chicken tenders, that were too bready, for $20. That was another 30 minute wait and when I got to the front they didn't have the 2 things on the menu that I wanted. There was one bar open and one kiosk to get food. Not only were the rides closed, most of the kiosks to get drinks and food were closed. Of course everyone was funneled into only a few rides because so many were closed. We left the park at 3 and between 12 and 3 we went on 3 rides! Each line was that long. Once, in we went straight to the rides and already by 1:45 there were long lines. Then when we arrived (we had paid online) we were told half the rides were closed due to understaffing! Thankfully they gave us a refund of half off the tickets we had already bought. This was the first sign of mismanagement. Cars filed single file into a huge car park and there was one young kid taking the car park money and telling everyone half the park was closed! I mean have a few kiosks taking the cash or pay when you enter the park or pay online and scan when you get there or have pay and display. Having been to so many water parks all over the world this was simply a ridiculous system. It took 40 mins to actually get from there to parking. First we arrived at 11, or rather we arrived in a long single file line on the highway to get into the park at 11. We went today (3/22) and I was not very impressed. Highly recommend it if you come to South Florida to visit or even if you’re moving here And there’s like a big rock structure in the back that has a huge cascading waterfall and you can almost sit there. There was even like this mushroom waterfall that you can go under and go through. My second most favorite was the family pool which was a zero entry walk in pool that had its own wave system that led off a bunch of waves. My dad, my stepmom Sarah, my niece Adair, who is 10 as of the time this review was written, came with me since we live about an hour and a half away in Miami. And I liked how they were two waterslides in which four people can actually go on and I was able to do that with my whole family. Plus there were so many outdoor showers everywhere. They had food, ice cream, a gift shop, and even funnel cakes. But this park was like an amusement park in itself. If I had a couple of complaints I would say it was the lines at some of the waterslides, the big yellow slide which almost made me fall out of the mat, the lack of shade on the ground going to the slides and I would probably say part of the surrounding neighborhood which is not the best. This place was about 35 acres but had way more water slides then tidal Cove and Atlantis combined. I’ve also gone to tidal Cove which is much much smaller at 5 acres and there were about five waterslides combined into this one area. ![]() I’ve been to Atlantis which has 140 acres but has about eight slides. I went to this waterpark in August 2022 and I’ve never been to a water park with that many slides, as many slides as this. ![]()
